The Student Osteopathic Association for Sports Medicine is a registered student organization at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.  The purpose of this organization is to encourage, foster, support, and conduct activities or programs which may improve the knowledge and well being of its members and the general public in matters related to the science and field of Sports Medicine.  The Student Osteopathic Association for Sports Medicine concerns itself with the education, advancement, and service as it relates to Sports Medicine within the community and amongst its members. 

The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Student Osteopathic Association for Sports Medicine is an organization open to all MSU students.  The MSUCOM S.O.A.S.M. will not discriminate on the basis of age, color, gender, gender identity, disability status, height, marital status, national origin, political persuasion, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or weight.
